Deborah Repak, Director, Products
Deborah Repak, Director in the Products group,
has been part of First Rate since its inception. She initially
worked as a part-time consultant and then became the second
full-time employee in May of 1992. As a Director in the Products
group, her responsibilities include assisting and leading the
technical team in key development initiatives.
Repak has developed and taken the First Rate Performance® product
from the initial 1.0 version to the current release with the help
of a talented team of individuals. She was instrumental in
implementing source control, time tracking and software
development process used by the First Rate programming staff. As a
technical manager, she has also |

contributed on all aspects of product
development and continues to participate in project management,
research, development and identifying performance measurement
trends.
Previous to working at First Rate, Repak worked at National FSI in
the investment performance systems department. She began at
National FSI in 1984 as a software developer and then moved on to
become the manager of programming. During this time, she
contributed to the design and development of the first PC-based
performance measurement product, trained clients, led several key
bank implementations and consulted on numerous product issues.
Repak is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where she
earned a Bachelor’s degree in quantitative analysis and computer
science. She has an MBA in finance from the University of North
Texas and also earned an Associate’s degree in culinary arts from
the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco.
